How many of you clean your diffuser? Let’s be honest, it’s easy to forget. HOWEVER, we really need to be wiping out our diffusers after each use, especially after diffusing oils that tend to be colored (like Blue Tansy) or tend to leave residue/resin behind (like good ole Myrrh). Wiping out after each use will help prevent any build-up. Doing a DEEP clean 1-2x a month is often suggested as well. A deep clean only takes a few minutes, but it will help make that diffuser last longer and will keep it running like new.

QUICK CLEAN
  • Empty the diffuser
  • Rinse out with water and wipe clean with the sponge it comes with or a soft cloth.
DEEP CLEAN (1-2 times per month)
  • Fill the water reservoir halfway to the fill line with filtered water. You can even add 10 drops of white vinegar if you like.
  • Run the diffuser in a well-ventilated area for up to 5 minutes
  • Turn off and unplug the diffuser
  • Empty the diffuser
  • Dip a cotton swab in Thieves Cleaner or rubbing alcohol and clean the ultrasonic plate to remove any extra buildup.
  • Rinse the reservoir with water. Then wipe it clean and dry up excess water with a soft cloth.
