CUSTOMIZED SHAMPOO & BODY WASH
So you may ask, “Doesn’t YL have shampoo and body wash I can order?” Why yes, they do! BUUUUT. Did you know that you can make it your very own? You can also extend it and make it last even longer! YL shampoo and body wash is gel based, so it has a tad more concentrated formula than most shampoos and body washes. This is a great thing! Because of this, you can dilute it to make it last longer ANNNNND(or) add your own oils to the already made formula or DIY your own recipe with it!
One 8 oz shampoo bottle will make 64 oz of your new DIY extended hair wash!
WHICH SHAMPOO FOR YOUR HAIR TYPE-
- Lavender Volume: formulated for all hair types but ideal for fine, thin, and/or limp hair
- Copaiba Vanilla: Formulated for all hair types but ideal for dry and/or damaged hair
- Lavender Mint: Formulated for all hair types and gentle enough for daily use
DIY SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH-
- Use 2 32oz wide mouth mason jars with the pump attached.

- Add in hot water (slightly under a boil) to the top of the jar...using a kettle pot will help you to be able to carefully pour it out. Putting in hot water over cold will help the shampoo dissolve.
- Stir with a wooden or metal utensil! You don’t want to shake because you want to minimize creating bubbles.
- Now, get your 2nd jar and pour out half of the other jar into the empty one and evenly distribute it.
- Top off both jars again with hot water and stir again!
- Add any of your favorite oils to the jars! A few drops will go a long way! Some of our favorite oils to add are: Cedarwood, Lavender, and Tea Tree!
You now have made way more for your money!! (Note: the dilution will be more watery and thin, but that’s okay! It’s all you need and it still washes thoroughly!) Also, you may have to gently swirl before each use to evenly distribute the mixture again .

IF you don’t feel like making this recipe, no worries! Because the body wash and shampoo are gel based, you can add any of your favorite oils to the formula! You can do this with each use by adding a drop to your hand and/or grabbing a pump bottle on Amazon to store your shampoo in so you can add your oils!
