DIFFUSING FOR A ROOM REFRESH
Okay, so it really comes down to personal preference when diffusing for the smelly good effect : ). However, there are a couple of tips to get you started. Typically, when diffusing a more floral scent, you don’t want to go too overboard. You can balance many of the floral scents with something more citrus and/or woodsy smelling. For instance, you can add 3-4 drops of a floral and 1-2 drops of a citrus/woodsy smelling oil.
Here’s a quick guide to help decipher...
Floral:
Joy
Geranium
Yang Ylang
Patchouli
Jasmine
Rose
Citrus:
Lime
Citrus Fresh
Tangerine
Grapefruit
Lemon
Lemon Myrtle
Orange
Woodsy:
Northern Lights Black Spruce
Sacred Mountain
Idaho Blue Spruce
Believe
Pine
Cypress
DIFFUSING USING YOUR STARTER KIT
We get it, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. That’s why Young Living makes it easy for us by creating Starter Kits! They place those specific oils in there for a reason. It’s because they are the most used and versatile oils!
Here are some of our favorite blends to diffuse from the Starter Kit!
Tip: Add equal parts of each or add more of one over the other. It really depends on your personal preference! Generally, oily users use about 6-10 drops total depending on the blend being diffused. For a single oil, it’s around 4-6 drops. For diffusing blends it tends to be a tad more because typically 1-3 drops on average are used of each oil.
